WELCOME

Dr Amy Marie Campbell is a climate scientist with a PhD in Ocean and Earth Sciences, working in Earth Observation and Machine Learning, and with a specialism in climate-sensitive infectious diseases and health

About Me

I currently work at the European Space Agency in the Actionable Climate Information Section. As a scientist, I use tools like Earth Observation (satellite data) and Machine Learning (AI) to understand more about our climate, and have particularly focused on using these tools to forecast climate-sensitive diseases (water-borne and vector-borne.  I'm previously been a Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, have a PhD from the University of Southampton, and have spent time working in international agencies and the public sector. I use a range of data and analysis techniques, including modelling, bioinformatics, statistics, remote sensing and machine learning.
