Global Vibrio Conference, Peru 2024

The Global Vibrio Conference was held in Lima, Peru in October 2024, covering epidemiology to ecology, from genetics to aquaculture, from virulence regulation to climate change. As a speaker, I delivered a session on my Vibrio research in Latin America- specifically "Reshaping the evolutionary history of Vibrio parahaemolyticus ST3: the explosive parallel emergence of distinct populations in disparate climates of Asia and South America amidst El Niño" to the global audience, and the Latin American representatives.
